MY STORY
Every chapter of my life has taught me something about hard work, responsibility, and service. Together, they've shaped the leader I hope to be.
Home is Where My Heart Is
I've called Catawba County home my entire life. Over the years I've watched this community grow, change, and face new challenges.
Through it all, my love for this county and the people who live here has only deepened. This is the place where I raised my family and worked hard to build my career, and it's the community I'm proud to fight for every single day.

Figuring It Out, One Step at a Time
At 19, I was working the front desk at a doctor's office for $8.50 an hour. By 20, I'd taught myself enough to become their collections manager. When my daughter was born and wouldn't take a bottle, I taught myself medical transcription so I could work remotely and be there for her.
Nobody handed me a road map for any of this. At every step, and with every challenge, I figured it out, because I had to.
Making Every Dollar Count
That experience has shaped everything about how I approach money and responsibility.
As an accounting professional, I understand budgets, financial accountability, and what it means to make every dollar count. I've lived the reality of stretching limited resources to do the most good.
If elected, I'll bring that same mindset to how your tax dollars are managed, making sure every cent is allocated where it makes the most difference to the people of Catawba County.
Showing Up For My Community
But as passionate as I am about the numbers, it's my work as a community volunteer and advocate that truly drives me.

I've always believed in giving back.
I was a class mom when my kids were in elementary school, served on the PTO, deliver Meals on Wheels, have volunteered at the soup kitchen and the Backpack Program, and introduced initiatives at several workplaces to get coworkers involved in our community too.
Running for Catawba County Commissioner is the next inevitable step in giving back to a community that has given me so much.

Being out in my community, I've heard your stories, I've heard the challenges you face and the issues that matter most to you. I believe every voice deserves to be heard by the people making decisions that affect your day-to-day life.
I believe Catawba County deserves leaders who show up, listen, and engage, and I believe failing to do that doesn't just fall short of what we deserve, it's disrespectful to the people who elected you.
My Commitment to You
I'm running for County Commissioner not for power or politics, but because I'm one of you.
I've struggled, I've figured things out along the way, and I've come out the other side with a deep commitment to making sure Catawba County works for everyone who calls it home.
WHY VOTE FOR ME?
As your commissioner, I will be committed to the following key priorities:
Fair access to county government decisions.
Thoughtful economic planning and development.
Responsible allocation of resources to benefit the people.
Caretaking of water and natural resources.
Adequate social services.
